Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions to integrate multiple systems end-to-end.
• Create and manage API-based integrations between Ansible, ServiceNow, GitHub, SolarWinds, and other platforms.
• Write Python scripts and incorporate logic within Ansible playbooks for advanced automation use cases.
• Test, validate, and document all automation processes, solution designs, and architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
• Monitor integrated solutions regularly and propose enhancements for performance improvement.
• Participate in review sessions to share best practices and explore emerging technologies.
• Provide training, support, and knowledge transfer to IT team members on automation practices.
• Develop network orchestration playbooks using Ansible to automate network tasks.
• Standardize network configurations through YANG modelling for Cisco routers and switches and document them in design guidelines.
• Work effectively in an Agile environment and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and continuous delivery processes.
