Job Summary:

To design, develop, and implement automation solutions for connector assembly, tool handling, and testing processes, with the goal of improving productivity, consistency, and quality in manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop semi-automatic and automatic machines for connector assembly and related operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Production) to identify automation opportunities.
• Develop concepts, prepare layouts, and support fabrication and assembly of automation fixtures.
• Program and debug PLCs (Delta / Mitsubishi / Siemens) and HMI systems for new machines.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, pneumatics, and servo systems into automation setups.
• Support preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of existing SPMs (Special Purpose Machines).
• Document design changes, wiring diagrams, and machine operation manuals.
• Coordinate with external vendors and automation partners for outsourced developments.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in automation or SPM development (preferred in connector / precision component industries).
• Strong understanding of mechanical mechanisms, pneumatics, sensors, and PLC logic.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD) and electrical wiring practices.
• Practical experience in debugging automation lines will be an added advantage.
