Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Able to review and understand P & ID of different Machine.
• Able to understand machine & field instrument with their working.
• Able to Prepare Job Specific Input / Output List from P &ID.
• Able to discuss query with design/client for technical clearance.
• Issue Job specific control system material from store for Jig purpose.
• Prepare Jig Workstation as per Job Input / Output List from Operating Manual.
• Co-ordinate with developer for Job specific program download.
• Power Up Jig with PLC / HMI / SCADA system.
• Check PLC / HMI / SCADA System physical communication.
• Simulate All Input / Output through Jig Switches and Potentiometer.
• Able to Check All Input / Output as per DR/Operation Manual.
• Able to Check Access right as per allocated in system as per DR/Operation.
• Manual or as allocated by admin in system.
• Able to Check all require cycle as per DR/Operation manual.
• Able to Check developer design P&ID as per final document present in Design Manual.
• Any development query or logic related issue, take up with vendor to conclude in specific time with maintaining history record of issues (during Jig, internal FAT, External FAT etc.).
• Able to Check all require cycle in regular running condition (without alarm) and in alarm condition.
• Take all Alarm testing as DR/Operation Manual in Report form.
• In case of SCADA check job specific 21 CFR Part 11 data and generate report.
• Able to Check if any specific requirement highlighted in DR or deviation note by design.
• Prepare Final Operation manual (if any point needs to update) and Screen.
• Manual about developed system and same transfer to QC before internal FAT.
• Conclude Jig testing with QR report to QC before internal FAT with all require document in Job Specific folder by Concern engineer (i.e. Operation Manual, Screen Manual, wiring diagram or else job specific require document related to automation etc.).
• During Manufacturing of Machine, he/she must clear the machine I/Os and running condition requirement at assembly floor for internal FAT testing.
• Periodically he/she must take job specific backup after completion of Final FAT and generate document as per software backup activity work instruction.
• Periodically he/she able to do job specific validation after completion of final FAT and generate document through validation vendor and submit final validation document to QC.
• Able to understand and process application related client specific complain with developer and service team.
• Take initiative and involvement for new product and new features development activity (R & D/D & D).
• Follow ISO 9000 process.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in the design of heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and tanks.
• Proficiency in design software such as PV Elite, Compress, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
• Understanding of fabrication processes and welding practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation.
