Automation Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain automated systems using PLC, SCADA, VFD, and programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram (FBD), Sequential Function Charts (SFC), and Functions.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and implement solutions that meet customer needs.
  
• Troubleshoot issues with existing automation systems and perform root cause analysis to resolve problems efficiently.
  
• Develop documentation for new projects and updates to existing ones to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing among team members.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4-7 years of experience in industrial automation engineering or related field.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.), Electronics & Communication Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.), or Instrumentation Engineering (B.Sc.).
  
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, electronics concepts, telecommunication technologies, instrumentation techniques, programmable logic controllers (PLC), supervisory control & data acquisition systems (SCADA).
  
• Proficiency in programming languages like Ladder Logic, FBD, SFC; ability to work on various platforms including HMI/SCADA software.
