Automation Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards. Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. Isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects. Verifies fixes. Documents testing according to required procedures. Familiar with software development cycle (tech stack: React and Java) and quality assurance methodologies. May assist with the creation of new testing scripts and plans. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Minimum 6+ years experience in Web, Mobile and SOA / API testing and automation Good Hands-on experience with Java. Good Hands-on experience with test automation with Selenium. Experience in UI automation frameworks Selenium-Java Good Hands-on experience in any API testing tool – ReadyAPI, SOAPUI, postman etc. Hands on testing experience in React based frameworks and Spring (Java: Backend) Deep understanding of Databases and modern cloud middlewares including Kafka. Good exposure to retail domain. Good exposure on Service virtualization.
