Automation & AV Site Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Automation & AV Site Engineer to execute and support smart home automation, lighting control, and audio-video installations for residential projects. This role is execution-focused and involves on-site installation, programming, testing, commissioning, and after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Lighting

• Install, configure, and commission smart home automation systems
• Execute lighting control systems (dimming, scenes, keypads, drivers)
• Read and implement wiring diagrams, BOQs, and layouts
• Coordinate with electricians and interior teams during execution
• Test and troubleshoot automation systems during handover

Audio-Video Systems

• Install and configure multi-room audio systems
• Speaker installation (in-ceiling / in-wall / surface-mounted)
• Basic setup of AV receivers, amplifiers, and streaming devices
• Assist with TV, projector, and home theatre installations
• Troubleshoot audio/video issues on site

Networking & Integration

• Basic IP networking (routers, switches, IP addressing)
• Integrate automation systems with apps and voice assistants
• Ensure stable system performance and connectivity

Support & Documentation

• Provide on-site and post-installation support
• Maintain basic site documentation and handover reports
• Coordinate with OEM / brand technical teams when required

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in:
• Home automation OR
• Audio-Video integration OR
• ELV / low-voltage systems
• Exposure to at least one automation ecosystem:
• Lutron / Schneider / KNX / Fibaro / Casambi / Tuya / Control4
• Working knowledge of multi-room audio systems
• Ability to work independently on residential project sites
• Good communication skills for site coordination

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
