Key Responsibilities: HVAC System Drawings: Prepare detailed HVAC drawings (plans, elevations, sections, and schematics) for air conditioning, ventilation, heating, and refrigeration systems. Create and modify AHU (Air Handling Unit) locations, ductwork layouts , chilled and hot water piping routes , and other HVAC system elements. Develop and maintain Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCPs) and other associated design documentation. Piping and Ducting Layouts: Design piping layouts for chilled water (CHW) and hot water (HW) systems, including manifolds, valves, and equipment connections. Prepare detailed layouts for ductwork , air distribution systems, and ventilation routes. Coordination with Engineering Teams: Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other team members to integrate HVAC designs with overall building layouts and systems. Assist in the development of pressure zoning , area classification , and detailed airflow layouts . Documentation and Revisions: Ensure the timely delivery of HVAC shop drawings and layouts. Revise and update drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and coordination with other disciplines. Prepare as-built drawings after the projects completion, reflecting the final system installations. Software Usage: Use AutoCAD , Revit , and other HVAC design software to produce accurate and efficient drawings. Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project files. Skills & Qualifications: Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering , HVAC Engineering , or related field. Experience: Minimum [4-9] years of experience as an HVAC Draughtsman or in a similar role. Experience in preparing HVAC system drawings for commercial and residential buildings is essential. Knowledge of ductwork design , piping layouts , and HVAC equipment. Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit , and other HVAC drafting tools. Knowledge of HVAC systems, including AHUs , chilled water systems , ducting , and ventilation systems . Familiarity with HVAC design standards , local building codes , and regulatory requirements . Ability to interpret mechanical plans and specifications and integrate them into drawings. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Desirable: Previous experience in MEP coordination and working with multi-disciplinary teams. Familiarity with energy-efficient HVAC systems and sustainable design practices. Certification in AutoCAD or similar software.

Responsible for creating 2d and 3d technical drawings using Autocad based on design specifications .Ensure accuracy , design intent and compliance with project standards and timelines.

Worked on Highrise residential buildings within Mumbai suburbs / city up to 70M or 23 floors. Prepare GFC Drawings such as setting out plan, centre line plan, all floor plans, section, elevation, lift lobby staircase, kitchen, toilet, electrical layout, furniture layout, open footings, retaining walls raft, S.T.P., pump room & car pit, rainwater harvesting, piling etc. Coordinate with Architectural team, Structural Consultants, MEP Consultant, site team etc. Prepare area statements like MOFA carpet area, RERA carpet area, BUA etc. Inspect work done as per approved GFC drawings. Visit site for checking before casting of slabs and critical designs. Explain project details to Execution team (Engineers) to ensure complete understanding of scope and drawings. Numbering, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents of projects.
