AutoCAD Draftsman/woman

As a Draftsman at Arch-Espaco, you will be involved in detailed drafting for designing and developing architectural projects from concept to construction. Your role will require you to collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that designs and constructions meet the specified plans and standards. Additionally, you will create project drawings, detail construction plans, and review contract documents while working closely with a team of Architects, Planners, and Designers. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in detailed drafting for architectural projects - Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors - Create project drawings and detail construction plans - Review contract documents - Work alongside a team of Architects, Planners, and Designers - Manage projects and work with cross-functional teams - Utilize AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, and other design software effectively - Apply building detailing, specifications, and construction administration skills - Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication - Work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously - Experience in sustainable design and passive design techniques is a plus Qualifications: - ITI Draftsman or Diploma in Architecture from an accredited institution - Minimum of 4 years of experience in architecture - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, and other design software - Strong experience in building detailing, specifications, and construction administration - Ability to manage projects and work with cross-functional teams - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently - Experience in sustainable design, energy use models, and passive design techniques is advantageous This role is a full-time hybrid position located at Arch-Espaco in Trivandrum.
