Looking for an AutoCAD Design Engineer with mandatory AutoCAD 2D & 3D skills and basic knowledge of transformer construction.
The role includes preparing detailed 2D/3D drawings, assembly drawings, exploded views, and part-wise drawings with BOM, ensuring dimensional accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with IS/IEC standards. Responsibilities include drafting transformer tanks, core & winding layouts, conservators, radiators, bushings, valves, lifting lugs, clamps, cable boxes, earthing terminals, and small parts such as bolts, nuts, washers, gaskets, plates, spacers, and shims, along with defining materials, sizes, grades, tolerances, and assembly orientation. The candidate should support the shop floor with clear fabrication and assembly drawings, maintain drawing revisions and document control, and coordinate effectively with production and quality teams.
