Authorized Officer of Retirement Operations

Role Overview: As an Authorized Officer in the Retirement Operations team at UBS, your main responsibility will be to maintain and process IRA and Qualified plan transactions accurately while adhering to IRS regulations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless processing of retirements and maintaining high standards of efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage IRA transactions with precision and efficiency. - Ensure timely and accurate processing for retirements, maintaining high standards. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless processing. - Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance. - Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their growth and development. - Contribute to project delivery, ensuring successful outcomes. - Review and update SOPs quarterly to maintain current and effective procedures. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - At least 3 years of experience in Retirement Operations and/or IRA Tax Reporting. - In-depth knowledge of financial markets and IRS rules and regulations for IRA and Qualified plans. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. - Meticulous attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
