Job Description

Role Overview: As an Auditor in the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Operations audit team based in Bangalore, India, you will play a key role in delivering global audit coverage for the COO function. Your responsibilities will involve auditing key Operations utilities and trade processing aspects across various investment banking products and businesses. Additionally, you will contribute to risk assessment, track and validate risk remediation, and collaborate with senior managers and staff from other audit teams to ensure effective coverage of processing risks. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of audits. - Track and validate risk remediation and closure of findings. - Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls in operational and business areas according to Group Audit methodology. - Demonstrate an understanding of risks in operations and the broader banking environment, including fraud scenarios. - Participate in supporting complex audits and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. - Take responsibility for skill development, share expertise with colleagues, and contribute to the development of the COO team and Group Audit. - Occasional regional and global travel may be required. - Complete assigned work on a timely basis, including ad hoc projects and special investigations. Qualifications Required: - Creative, tenacious, and delivery-oriented self-starter. - Strong team-working capabilities and ability to build business and team relationships. - Positive attitude, willingness to accept responsibility, and a focus on delivery. - Strong English communication skills; fluency in other languages is advantageous. - At least 3 years of experience in auditing or related disciplines. - Relevant qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, ACA, CPA or equivalent are preferred.
