Role Overview: At PwC, you will be a part of the audit and assurance team focusing on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information to enhance credibility and reliability with stakeholders. Your role will involve evaluating compliance with regulations, assessing governance and risk management processes, and related controls. Specifically in financial statement audit, you will be responsible for obtaining reasonable assurance about the accuracy of financial statements and issuing an auditor's report with your opinion. Key Responsibilities: - Engage in financial and managerial accounting activities - Contribute to assurance and systems projects - Enhance skills and knowledge for quality work delivery - Establish meaningful client relationships - Aid in managing and motivating team members - Broaden technical knowledge in firm services and technology - Support client engagement and project tasks Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Chartered Accountant - Oral and written proficiency in English required - 1 year of audit busy season completed Additional Company Details: When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you will actively support various services from Advisory to Assurance, Tax, and Business Services. As part of the Core Assurance - AC India team, you are expected to focus on financial accounting, managerial accounting, assurance, and systems while learning and contributing to client engagements and projects. Your development will involve building client connections, managing teams, and growing your personal brand by enhancing technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. Although a credential is not required to be hired at this level, it will be necessary for progression to Manager.
