As an Audio Visual (AV) Technician, you will be responsible for handling various audio and video equipment, such as microphones, speakers, projectors, displays, and video conferencing systems from different OEMs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Utilizing your expertise in AV control systems to automate and manage complex AV setups effectively. - Demonstrating an understanding of signal processing techniques like equalization, compression, and noise reduction. - Showcasing your proficiency in DSP programming, calibration, and sound tuning of OEMs such as BSS, Biamp, Bose, NST audio, Marani, etc. - Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues with AV equipment and systems efficiently. - Managing AV projects from planning and scheduling to budgeting and ensuring timely project delivery. - Adhering to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical equipment and rigging. - Integrating IT infrastructure with AV systems and understanding network protocols for connecting AV devices. - Creating and interpreting audio and video signal flow diagrams or schematics accurately. - Providing guidance to on-site technicians on speaker and display positions, connections, and commissioning of sound systems. Qualifications required for this role include: - Diploma in a relevant field is preferred. - 1 year of experience in DSP programming is preferred. - 3 years of experience in AV or sound system setup is preferred. - 2 years of experience in audio troubleshooting is preferred.
