Role Description

The Junior Audio Engineer - Films will be responsible for assisting in recording, editing, and mixing audio for feature films and other projects. Day-to-day tasks include configuring audio equipment such as microphones, managing audio-visual (AV) systems during shoots, creating sound designs, and ensuring optimal acoustics in various setups. This is a contract role and requires working on-site at our New Delhi office.

Qualifications

• Experience with microphones, their setup, and usage.
• Proficiency in audio engineering techniques, including recording, editing, and mixing audio.
• Knowledge of sound design and the ability to create engaging audio effects.
• Familiarity with audio-visual (AV) systems and their operations during shoots.
• Understanding of acoustics and the ability to enhance sound quality in diverse environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams.
• Previous experience in film or media production is a plus.
• A degree or certification in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or a related field is preferred.
