Astronomy Educator

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging astronomy sessions for tourists, students, and the general public
• Operate telescopes and explain celestial objects in an easy-to-understand way
• Guide guests through night sky observations, constellation tours, and solar observations (daytime)
• Assist in maintaining astronomy equipment at the observatory
• Continuously learn and stay updated on space science topics through our training program

Requirements:

• Passion for astronomy, space science, and public speaking
• Willingness to learn and grow with hands-on training
• Good communication and storytelling skills in English and/or Hindi
• Comfortable working in outdoor and evening/night shift environments
• Preferred: Background in science, education, or related fields (not mandatory)
