Assurance Associate 2

As an Assurance Associate at RSM, you will provide timely, high-quality client service to both large and small companies across various industries. Your role involves developing strong working relationships with clients and teams, understanding their businesses, and addressing their challenges. Here are your key responsibilities: - Develop an understanding of clients" needs, expectations, accounting systems, industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues. - Demonstrate knowledge of the RSM US audit approach, methodology, and tools. - Perform audit procedures and tests based on the audit plan, ensuring proper documentation. - Identify accounting and auditing issues, discussing solutions with the audit in-charge. - Assist in preparing audit reports and management letters. - Exercise professional skepticism, judgment, and adhere to the code of ethics. - Collaborate effectively with RSM audit professionals and senior management. - Take ownership of tasks, ensuring service excellence and timely responses to clients. - Provide high-quality client service, coordinating audit work plan and deliverables. - Understand RSM's service offerings and work as a global team. - Ensure ongoing professional development and participate in various projects. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's in Commerce/MBA. - 0-1 year of relevant experience. - Strong data analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication in English. - Strong multi-tasking and project management skills. Preferred qualifications include: - Articleship from a Big 4 firm. - 50% completion of ACCA, CA, or CPA.
