Job Description

We have urgent hiring for Senior Engineer /Asst. Manager for Purchase & Vendor Development.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and qualify new vendors for raw materials, components, and engineering products.
Conduct supplier evaluation audits covering quality systems, capacity, compliance, and technical capability.
Manage procurement activities including RFQ, comparative statements, negotiations, and finalization of purchase orders.
Ensure timely procurement of materials and components as per production/ project requirements.
Drive cost reduction initiatives through product localization, alternate sourcing, and zero-base costing methods.
Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of supplier development, sourcing, and procurement processes.
Experience in cost analysis, negotiation, and product localization.
Good understanding of quality standards, audits, and vendor capability assessment.
