Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Production managers ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.

Responsibilities of the job include:

Planning and Organising Production Schedules
Assessing project and resource requirements
Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
Ensuring that Health and Safety regulations are met
Determining quality control standards
Overseeing production processes
Renegotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff
Supervising and managing the work of junior staff
Organising relevant training sessions.

Preferred candidate profile:

6-10 years of proven experience as a Asst. Manager Production/ Sr. Production Supervisor or in a similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of production management principles, quality control, and lean manufacturing.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
