Position: Assistant Manager - Project Management Location: Ahmedabad Department: Research Development Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager - Project Management specializing in RD and Manufacturing to drive innovation, product development, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end projects, ensuring timely execution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning Execution: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for RD and manufacturing projects. Product Development: Coordinate with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth product development and prototyping. Process Optimization: Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with RD, procurement, production, and quality teams to align project goals. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in projects and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays. Budget Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective execution while maintaining quality standards. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety guidelines, and company policies. Reporting Documentation: Maintain project documentation, track progress, and present reports to senior management. Required Qualifications Experience: Education: B.E/B.Tech/IIT in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field. Experience: 3-7 years of experience in project management within RD and/or manufacturing environments. Technical Skills: Experience with product development, prototyping, and manufacturing processes . Familiarity with CAD tools, automation technologies, and process optimization . Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and industry standards . Project Management Skills: Hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, and execution . Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello, etc.) . Ability to handle multiple projects with strict deadlines. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management. Preferred Skills: Experience in robotics, automation, or renewable energy sectors . Exposure to agile project management methodologies . Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Six Sigma is an added advantage.
