Associate Vice President, Product Control GBS

As the Head of Central PC Controls at the Financial Markets division in GBS, your role is pivotal in ensuring the effective application of accounting and financial control policies for Global Financial Markets. **Key Responsibilities:** - Developing and maintaining a product and valuation control function to identify, monitor, and mitigate financial risks related to complex derivative products - Collaborating with regional CFOs to maintain interfaces between transaction booking systems and accounting/regulatory reporting infrastructure - Introducing new controls within FM and providing insights on system changes and future business expansions - Leading engagement with Global and Regional Regulators and Auditors to support PC related queries and audits - Designing and maintaining robust control environment for daily P&L reporting and balance sheet substantiation - Managing and motivating the FM product and valuation control teams to achieve collective goals - Providing thought direction and accountability for strategic initiatives in Technology, Regulatory, and Legal Entity Controls **Qualifications Required:** - Strong knowledge of accounting rules - Quantitative reasoning skills - Product knowledge - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills About Standard Chartered, we are an international bank committed to making a positive difference for our clients, communities, and employees.
