Associate, Valuation Controller

As an Associate, Valuation Controller within the Valuation Control Group, your role involves executing price verification and benchmark processes, calculating fair value adjustments, and assisting with established practices and control initiatives. You will collaborate with various functional groups to address valuation-related issues and contribute to impactful projects across Business, Risk, and Finance initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute price verification/benchmark process, including the calculation of fair value adjustments - Assist with VCG established practices and control initiatives - Partner with functional groups on valuation related issues and develop/implement appropriate measures - Enhance the existing control framework by reviewing independent pricing processes and implementing new tools - Work on other value-added projects related to Business, Risk, and Finance initiatives **Qualifications Required:** - 3+ years of related experience - Ability to understand complex products and analyze transaction and process flows - Understanding of valuation concepts in financial products and derivatives, along with basic accounting knowledge - Analytical and quantitative aptitude - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks The company prefers candidates with an undergraduate degree in finance and economics or a graduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or engineering. Work experience in the financial industry and proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Basic, automation, and database skills are considered advantageous for this role.,
