Associate - UK Compliance and Risk - Compliance Monitoring and Acquisitions

Role Overview: As an Associate in UK Compliance and Risk - Compliance Monitoring & Acquisitions at EY, you will play a crucial role in managing internal risks associated with accepting new clients or engagements, as well as ongoing audit and non-audit activities. The Risk Management team at EY, established in 2007, serves as a Center of Excellence for standardized quality and compliance-related activities efficiently executed from Global Delivery Services location. Key Responsibilities: - Developing subject matter expertise to support due diligence checks for clients and suppliers before acquisitions - Managing data activities for acquisitions, including maintaining process schedules, conducting research and analysis to identify non-compliance, tracking integration plan actions, and collaborating with the team for process enhancements - Enabling leadership reports using MS Excel, Power Bi, and PowerPoint, validating data accuracy, and supporting various compliance monitoring processes such as Insider Trading, Modern Slavery, Consultant Lobbying, Client and Engagement Acceptance, and more Qualifications Required: To qualify for this role, you must have: - 3-5 years of experience in research/compliance processes involving due diligence or data review - Monitoring compliance with policies using Risk frameworks - Stakeholder interaction and management - Data analysis and data management Training will be provided to supplement existing experience Preferred skills and attributes include: - Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment and respond to emerging priorities - Experience working under deadlines and delivering high-quality output in a fast-paced, client-driven setting - Basic project management skills and proficiency with technologies like MS Forms, SharePoint, and Power BI Additional Company Details (if applicable): EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and global delivery network operating across six locations.
