Job Description

Role Overview: You will be a key member of the Arcadis team, playing a crucial role in leading the Site Evaluation and Restoration (SER) department in the GEC. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance to a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with UK leadership, and driving business targets and project management. You will also be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, fostering innovation, and ensuring project delivery and team development. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise a team of multidisciplinary staff in GEC, including peers and subordinates - Work closely with SER BU Director and SER Growth Director in the UK - Provide techno-managerial guidance to the UK SER team - Assist in achieving business targets, project management, quality control, and team development - Responsible for billability and workload management in GEC, liaising with UK leadership - Identify and pursue growth opportunities in new technical areas and teams within the UK - Establish and strengthen relationships with senior staff in UK offices - Take ownership of project delivery and technological capabilities of GEC - Support bid proposals and new business pursuits - Foster creativity and independent thinking within the team, particularly concerning digital technologies - Guide team leads and champion high-quality standards and continuous improvement - Lead the team by setting direction and serving as an example - Manage task delivery to achieve time, quality, budget, and safety goals - Ensure adoption and sharing of delivery best practices and implementation of procedures and work plans - Promote and uphold regional and global business culture Qualification Required: - BE Tech/MTech in Environmental/Mech/Civil Engineering or equivalent - PhD preferred - Ideally 15+ years of professional experience - Strong technical background in Site Evaluation and Restoration, Contaminated Land, and Remediation - Experience in managing staff and stakeholders across various disciplines - Confident in building strong relationships with senior stakeholders - Awareness of global digital and technology trends in the environmental sector - Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities - Experience with PFAS will be an advantage - Flexible to adapt to changes and challenges as per business requirements Additional Company Details: Arcadis is committed to empowering every individual to be their best and believes in the value of each contribution.
