Associate Software Engineer

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Better Software team at Better (Prev: Jalan Technologies), where you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality applications using React (TypeScript) and Python (Flask). Your focus will be on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following object-oriented programming principles. Additionally, you will contribute to automated tests to ensure code quality, participate in code reviews, and work in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop high-quality applications using React (TypeScript) and Python (Flask). - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following object-oriented programming principles. - Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated tests to ensure code quality. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives. Qualifications Required: - Basic experience with Python, React, or other relevant technologies, with a willingness to learn and improve. - Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles and software design best practices. - Understanding of RESTful services and version control systems like Git. - A proactive approach to learning, testing, and shipping high-quality code. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
