About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java Spring Boot 2. Implement business logic, service layers, and database interactions 3. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability 4. Build and maintain responsive web interfaces using React.js 5. Work with modern React features like hooks, functional components, and context APIs 6. Optimize components for performance and reusability 7. Design and manage relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) 8. Write efficient queries and handle data migrations 9. Use Git for code versioning and branching workflows 10. Collaborate using GitHub 11. Participate in basic CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments 12. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews 13. Work closely with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end features 14. Communicate progress, blockers, and solutions clearly with the team 15. Follow coding standards, write clean, modular, and maintainable code 16. Debug and resolve issues in development, staging, and production environments 17. Keep up with best practices in Java, Spring Boot, and React ecosystems Requirements: 1. Has worked on real-world projects (personal, academic, or professional) using Java Spring Boot and React.js 2. Experience building full-stack applications end-to-end not just parts of the system 3. Enjoys debugging, optimizing, and solving tough technical challenges 4. Can break down complex problems and propose practical solutions 5. Follows clean coding principles and understands SOLID design principles 6. Writes modular, reusable, and testable code 7. Uses Git effectively with clear commit messages and branching strategies 8. Comfortable explaining technical ideas to teammates 9. Can ask thoughtful questions and contribute in discussions, code reviews, and team decisions 10. Keeps up with updates in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and related tech 11. Interested in learning DevOps, performance tuning, or cloud basics if not already experienced 12. Can manage their tasks with minimal hand-holding 13. Takes ownership of features and sees them through to completion 14.
