Associate QA Lead

As a Quality Assurance professional with 5-9 years of experience, including 2 years in test automation, you are expected to lead QA efforts for major software projects. Your role involves working in a full-stack environment, preferably with a strong understanding of MEAN/MERN architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks from scratch. - Proficiency in at least one modern programming language relevant to the project's stack, such as JavaScript or TypeScript. - In-depth knowledge of test automation tools for front-end and back-end testing, including frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium for front-end automation, and tools like Postman, Newman, or Mocha and Chai for back-end automation. - Experience with performance testing tools for API and front-end performance, e.g., JMeter, Lighthouse. Qualifications Required: - Solid understanding of testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and regression testing. - Experience with version control systems, specifically Git. - Leadership skills to create, document, and manage comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, reproduce, and report defects. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders. - Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Desirable qualifications: - Prior experience as a developer and familiarity with security testing and non-functional testing. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker. - Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools like Jest, Mocha, Chai, and monitoring/logging tools. Additional Details: - Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Level or Agile Tester are a plus. - Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality are essential. - Experience with defect tracking and project management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana is beneficial.,
