Execution and Oversight: Coordinate and prioritize testing efforts across functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. Quality Metrics: Define, track, and analyze QA KPIs (e.g., defect density, test coverage) to monitor and improve quality. Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and expand automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium, or equivalent. Defect Management: Document and track defects, provide root cause analysis, and escalate critical issues with actionable insights. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance QA processes, tools, and methodologies. Risk Mitigation: Evaluate project risks and develop strategies to mitigate testing-related challenges. Team Development: Conduct training sessions, performance reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities to support team growth. QualificationsEducation Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Experience Minimum 5 years in software QA, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. Demonstrated experience managing QA teams and leading QA for complex software products. Technical Skills Strong command of QA methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and testing tools. Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium. Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Java. Soft Skills Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Detail-oriented and quality-focused under tight timelines. Certifications (Preferred but not required) ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent certifications. Additional Responsibilities Conduct team meetings to track progress and resolve blockers. Prepare detailed QA status reports and risk assessments for leadership.
