An Associate QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring software quality by executing manual and automated test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and maintaining clear and accurate test documentation. Collaborate closely with developers, senior QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements, clarify issues, and ensure that software meets the desired standards. In addition to conducting regression and functional testing ,the candidate must follow established QA processes and workflows, continuously develop their technical skills, and seek guidance from more experienced team members. Their diligent work helps support the overall quality assurance efforts of the team, contributing to the delivery of reliable and high-quality software products.
About the role:
- Experience in creating test strategies and test cases using standard techniques
- Hands-on experience in various file transfer protocols.
- Working experience on AWS services is a plus.
- Test Automation engineering experience with Playwright , Postman, and Selenium testing tools.
- Experience in testing applications with audio / video streams is a big plus.
- Experience and knowledge of working in projects that followed Agile methodologies
- Experience in API testing and API test automation is a plus.
- Knowledge of leveraging AI tools in testing space is a plus.
- Experience in Web application functional testing.
About you:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information technology and Engineering or equivalent degree.
- 1-2 years of software QA testing experience.
- Maintain regression test cases.
- Design and demonstrate solutions by developing documentations, layouts.
- Strong understanding of functional requirements.
- Requires strong attention to detail.
- Requires excellent communication skills.
- Analysis of current manual test processes to design automation scope and structure.
- Knowledge in agile methodologies.
