Associate QA Engineer

Role Overview: As an Associate QA Engineer at VT Netzwelt Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by focusing on manual testing while also contributing to automation testing as required. Working in an agile environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to meet project requirements effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Understand product requirements and functional specifications - Write, review, and execute detailed manual test cases - Design and maintain test automation scripts using tools like Selenium/WebDriver - Perform regression, integration, and smoke testing - Log defects clearly and track them to closure using tools like Jira - Contribute to test planning and status reporting - Collaborate with developers to enhance test coverage - Maintain and update test documentation Qualifications Required: - 1-2 years of experience in software QA (Manual) - Good understanding of Functional testing, UI testing, and API testing for web and mobile applications - Proficiency in SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and other testing practices - Experience in writing and executing test cases and reporting bugs - Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar - Theoretical knowledge of manual testing concepts - Ability to work independently and within a team environment - Strong verbal and written communication skills Additional Details: VT Netzwelt Pvt.
