Associate Project Manager

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of low-to-mid complexity projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can simultaneously manage at least two projects from inception to closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate is building a career in project management, possesses foundational certifications, and is eager to apply and grow their skills in a dynamic environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution:

  Develop and manage full-scale project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation for multiple projects.

• Stakeholder Communication:

  Serve as the primary contact for project team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, milestones, and changes.

• Tracking & Reporting:

  Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, reporting on key metrics, variances, and corrective actions.

• Risk & Issue Management:

  Identify, log, and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate critical items to senior management when necessary.

• Quality Assurance:

  Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder requirements.

• Team Coordination:

  Coordinate and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.

You should have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of direct experience in project management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage at least two projects simultaneously.
• Foundational knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Required Certification: CSM, PRINCE2, CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or equivalent foundational project management certification is required.
