Head of Department (HOD)

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities(not limited to):

  • Provide academic leadership and strategic direction to the department.
  • Manage teaching assignments, workload distribution, and faculty development.
  • Oversee curriculum design and program quality.
  • Facilitate research activities and collaborations.
  • Monitor departmental budget and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards.
  • Address student and faculty grievances.
  • Foster industry and academic partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. with a minimum of 10–15 years of academic experience.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred (e.g., as Professor or Associate Professor).
