Associate Professor

Role Overview: As an Associate Professor in Psychology, your role will involve teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Psychology, contributing to curriculum development and updating, supervising student research at postgraduate and Ph.D. levels, publishing research in reputed journals, participating in departmental and institutional activities, applying for research grants and projects, engaging in extension, co-curricular, and outreach activities, as well as mentoring junior faculty and students. Key Responsibilities: - Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Psychology - Curriculum development and updating - Supervising student research at postgraduate and Ph.D. levels - Publishing research in reputed journals - Participating in departmental and institutional activities - Applying for research grants and projects - Engaging in extension, co-curricular, and outreach activities - Mentoring junior faculty and students Qualifications Required: - Ph.D. Degree in Psychology or relevant discipline with a good academic record - Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) - NET/SET in Psychology - Minimum of eight (8) years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor - At least seven (7) publications in SCOPUS or peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals - Evidence of high-quality research including publications, participation in academic events, guidance of M.Phil./Ph.D. scholars,
