Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in Humanities and Social Science

As an Assistant Professor in Humanities and Social Sciences at Silver Oak University (Ahmadabad), your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in humanities and social sciences disciplines such as History, Political Science, Sociology, Philosophy, Economics, Literature, etc. - Develop and deliver engaging lectures, assignments, and assessments to enhance student learning. - Guide and mentor students in academic and research activities to support their overall development. - Participate in curriculum development and academic planning to ensure the relevance and quality of the programs. - Engage in interdisciplinary collaborations and departmental activities to foster a dynamic academic environment. - Contribute to seminars, workshops, and conferences at the college/university level to share knowledge and expertise. - Assist in administrative tasks and committee work as assigned to support the smooth functioning of the department. Qualifications & Requirements: - Education: Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognized university. - Experience: Prior teaching and research experience is preferred, although fresh Ph.D. holders with strong research credentials may also apply.
