Associate Production Master Data Manager

The Production Master Data Manager (PMDM) at Novartis supports GCS Planning by setting up Recipes, BOMs, and Production Versions in SAP to enable Primary and Secondary Packaging. The role includes ensuring Line Function Quality by executing LU2 checks and performing timely activities under the guidance of senior associates. Key responsibilities include creating Bill of Materials & Master Recipe for clinical and stability studies, updating and performing checks on Master recipes or Bill of Materials, documenting activities with GMP conformity, and supporting various departments in selecting efficient packaging designs. The PMDM also coordinates with planners and managers to ensure timely quality checks and availability of materials for planning and packaging activities. The role involves meeting quantity, quality, and timeline targets, collecting data for KPIs, maintaining a packaging material library, performing QC on materials, and ensuring compliance with best practices, GMP, and SAP requirements. The PMDM also liaises with Master Data Management for material status changes and reports KPIs and performance measures to support strategic objectives. Additionally, the PMDM proactively communicates key issues to management and project team members, interprets data, evaluates results, and collaborates to drive breakthroughs for patients.
