Associate Oracle Finance Consultant

Role & responsibilities

As an Associate Finance Functional Consultant, you will provide day-to-day functional support for Oracle R12 E-Business Suite (EBS) financial modules, helping to resolve issues, manage system configurations and ensure smooth functioning of finance-related applications. You will be working closely with end-users and DCIPL technical team members and/ or DCIPLs associate partners.

End-User Support & Issue Resolution

• Respond to and resolve end-user issues in Oracle R12 EBS financial modules (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management).
• Analyse and troubleshoot functional issues, identify root causes and provide timely resolutions.
• Document, escalate and track issues as necessary, collaborating with technical teams as and when required.
• System Configuration & Maintenance
• Assist/ support on configuration changes in Oracle EBS to meet business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with established processes and best practices in system setup and configuration.
• Change Management & Enhancements
• Support enhancement requests by gathering requirements, assessing feasibility, and coordinating with technical teams.
• Test new configurations, patches, developments and upgrades in a non-production environment before deployment.
• Assist in deploying patches and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
• Training & Documentation
• Prepare and update user manuals, training materials, and functional documentation for end-users.
• Conduct training sessions and offer guidance on best practices and new functionalities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, issue logs, and solution repositories.
• Testing & Quality Assurance
• Execute functional testing for changes, patches, and upgrades to verify functionality and data integrity.
• Document and report on testing outcomes, highlighting any issues encountered.
• Work with business and technical teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
