Job Title Jr. Application Engineer Job Location Pune Working Days Monday to Friday Working Hours 9 Hrs/Day Shift Timings General Shift Prime Responsibilities and Duties Jr. Application Engineer: Provide pre-sales support on Carrier /Toshiba products from reading specifications to preparing selections to providing quotation. Selection of Carrier/Toshiba products by using available software and tools. Pre-sales activities include, but are not limited to; system configuration validation, HVAC equipment selection of new construction and retrofit projects. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications in order to develop and provide equipment schedules and quotes. Follows standard guidelines for preparation of equipment schedules and quotes to match schedule, drawing and specification requirements. Basic knowledge of heat load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, statice pressure and pump head calculation. Strong engineering acumen and communicator with a positive attitude combined with sound technical knowledge able to be self-directed and operate under general guidance. Strict adherence to the Companys Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards Demonstrate a basic knowledge of HVAC equipment like Chiller, Cooling Towers, Primary & Secondary pumping systems, Hot Water System, different types of AHUs, FCUs, VRF & DX systems etc. Basic understanding of the principles of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems and associated equipment is required. Ability to perform successfully in a multifunctional-team-work environment and be able to work with minimal guidance and supervision. Must be a quick learner & should have a keen eye for problem solving. Proficient in written and verbal communication. Should have knowledge of HAP or any heat load calculation software and AutoCAD.

Perform penetration testing and ethical hacking to simulate cyberattacks. Evaluate compliance with regulations like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2 . 2. Security Strategy & Policy Development Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and frameworks . Advise organizations on best practices for risk management, data protection, and incident response . Assist in aligning security strategies with business objectives and compliance mandates . 3. Threat Management & Incident Response Help organizations develop incident response plans (IRP) . Conduct forensic investigations in the event of security breaches. Provide real-time threat intelligence and recommend proactive security measures. 4. Implementation of Security Solutions Recommend and deploy firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and cloud security tools . Guide organizations on zero-trust architecture, identity access management (IAM), and encryption . Assist in setting up secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure etc..) . 5. Role & responsibilities Customization & Development: Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle EBS modules, including Financials, SCM, HRMS, and others as required. Work on Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, OAF (Oracle Application Framework), and XML Publisher. Lead the development of custom components like interfaces, extensions, reports, and forms using Oracle development tools. Integration: Design and implement integrations between Oracle applications and other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and Oracle SOA Suite. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and ensure seamless data flow across systems. Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test cases, and technical solution diagrams. Ensure adherence to quality standards and document version control. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business users, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Upgrades & Migrations: Lead Oracle EBS upgrades, patch applications, and data migrations. Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during upgrades and migrations. Team Management: Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed. Preferred candidate profile Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite architecture and modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, HRMS). Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflow, OAF, XML Publisher, and UNIX scripting. Experience with Oracle SOA Suite, Web Services, and APIs for integrations. Development Tools: Hands-on experience with Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle Workflow, and BI Publisher. Knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus. Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting: Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills in both Oracle EBS and Oracle databases. Database Management: Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, SQL tuning, data modeling, and database performance optimization.
