Associate Manager - Production ATP

You will be joining a dynamic and purpose-driven manufacturing team focused on delivering high-quality oral solid dosage forms (tablets and capsules) to various markets in Africa. Your role will be crucial in maintaining product quality, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance, ultimately contributing to the goal of enhancing access to essential medicines across the continent. Your responsibilities will include managing daily production activities for tablets and capsules, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards and production targets. Leading and guiding the production team to promote efficiency, training, and adherence to SOPs will also be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring timely documentation, maintaining quality standards, and preparing for audits. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for seamless execution and issue resolution, as well as supporting continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste, will be essential tasks. You will also need to oversee equipment cleanliness, preventive maintenance, and production area hygiene, while strictly adhering to safety, health, and environmental guidelines. Flexibility to travel to different African sites for training, setup, or operational support may be required as well. The ideal candidate for this role should have a degree in B. Pharm / M. Pharm / B.Sc. / M.Sc. or a related field, along with 8-12 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, particularly in oral solid dosage forms. A strong grasp of cGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements specific to African markets, as well as demonstrated expertise in managing audits, process validations, and production planning, will be necessary. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills within a multicultural team environment are also essential.
