Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the production yeast process, drawing up a production schedule with Process parameters.
Ensure planned KPIs of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.
Ensuring that the production is cost effective.
Monitoring the production yeast processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control.
Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices.
Optimize resource utilization by implementation of an effective production organization.
Working with subordinate to implement the company's policies and goals.
Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Supervising and motivating a team of workers.
Reviewing the performance of subordinates.
Develop and track improvement in reduction of planned.
Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations.
Making sure that yeast products are produced on time and are of good quality.
Plan the purchases of raw manufacturing materials coordinate with store & purchase department to ensure sufficient inventories are on hand in support of the production schedule.
Keep all energy resources and water consumption ratios under control.
Ensure minimum production of effluent and maximum usage of permeate water to comply ZLD.

Preferred candidate profile

7-10 years of experience as Process Technologist/Engineer in Yeast/Fermentation Industry
Strong managerial skills, a true team player, proven experience on manufacturing operation.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships with team members
