Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and EPIC-certified professional with deep expertise in Resolute Professional Billing (PB), Hospital Billing (HB), and Revenue Cycle Management Systems (RCMS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing billing workflows, developing automation solutions, and supporting both internal teams and clients with work queue management and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Epic System Expertise

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Resolute PB and HB modules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to charge capture, claims processing, and reimbursement.
  • Collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams to align Epic workflows with business needs.

RCMS & Revenue Cycle Support

  • Provide strategic and operational support for RCMS platforms.
  • Analyze revenue cycle data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with billing regulations and payer requirements.

Automation & Tool Development

  • Design and implement automation tools to streamline billing and claims workflows.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Epic tools (e.g., Reporting Workbench, Radar).
  • Create scripts and utilities to reduce manual effort in work queue management
  • Work Queue Management
  • Monitor and manage Epic work queues to ensure timely resolution of tasks.
  • Train and support users in navigating and optimizing work queue performance.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to track queue efficiency and team productivity.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Qualifications: -

  • Certification or experience with Single Billing Office (SBO)
  • Epic Certification in both: Resolute Professional Billing (PB) & Resolute Hospital Billing (HB)
  • Experience with Epic tools such as Hyperspace, Workbench, and Reporting Workbench
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on Epic experience in billing workflows
  • Prior consulting experience in Epic implementations or upgrades
  • Familiarity with Epic training materials and ability to educate users

Experiences / Certifications for the following:

  • Hyperspace, Claim Administration, Cogito and Work Bench reports
  • Epic Claims (optional but preferred)
  • Knowledge of Charge Router helpful
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with payer contracting and denial management strategies.

Soft Skills: -

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem-solver and team collaborator.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
