Associate - Maintenance

As an Associate - Maintenance at Sterlite Electric, your role involves ensuring the optimal performance of all plant machinery related to continuous and batch manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for conducting routine and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment. Your key accountabilities include: - Ensuring optimal performance of plant machinery such as wire drawing machines, annealing units, stranding machines, and extrusion lines - Conducting routine and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment - Troubleshooting and resolving equipment breakdowns with minimal production downtime - Developing and implementing predictive maintenance strategies using methods such as vibration analysis and thermal imaging - Maintaining records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory - Coordinating with production and quality teams to support uninterrupted operations - Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations - Assisting in planning and executing machine upgrades, installations, and plant expansions - Managing external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks - Continuously analyzing equipment performance data to recommend improvements In addition to your responsibilities, you may be required to travel as and when needed.
