The Manager - Electrical plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of various plant machinery, such as wire drawing machines, annealing units, stranding machines, extrusion lines, and related utilities in both continuous and batch manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. Key responsibilities include conducting routine and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns efficiently to minimize production downtime, and developing predictive maintenance strategies using tools like vibration analysis and thermal imaging. It is essential to maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory while coordinating with production and quality teams to ensure uninterrupted operations. Additionally, the Manager - Electrical will be involved in planning and executing machine upgrades, installations, and plant expansions, as well as managing external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks. Continuous analysis of equipment performance data to recommend improvements is also a key aspect of the role. The position may require occasional travel as necessary.
