Associate Legal Editor

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and draft articles, case notes, and updates on current legal developments.
• Edit and proofread legal content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Work with the editorial and content teams to plan and execute content strategies.
• Ensure that all published material aligns with Law Chakra’s tone and legal accuracy standards.
• Collaborate with design, social media, and web teams for content presentation and engagement.
• Stay updated on recent judgments, amendments, and trends in the legal field.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Qualification:

  Bachelor’s degree in Law (

  LL.B

  ) from a recognized university.
• Excellent command over written and spoken English.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Ability to simplify complex legal topics for a wider audience.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in legal writing, editing, or publishing (preferred but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with SEO and digital content practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
