As a Senior Developer in this role, you will be responsible for writing optimized code in Javascript/Typescript and working with Advanced NodeJs and ReactJs frameworks. You will actively participate in regular design sessions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies. Your collaboration with the Product Owner/Manager and scrum team will help deliver high-quality features within agreed timescales. Identifying areas for modification or refactoring inside the code-base and advocating for their improvement will be part of your responsibilities. Leading by example, you will contribute to a culture of high quality, personal ownership, and customer-focused execution. Additionally, you will coordinate directly with clients on various aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring the maintenance of best coding practices within your team. At times, you may also conduct interviews with clients before onboarding new projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Writing optimized code in Javascript/Typescript - Working with Advanced NodeJs and ReactJs frameworks - Participating in regular design sessions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies - Collaborating with Product Owner/Manager and scrum team to deliver high-quality features - Identifying areas for modification or refactoring in the code-base - Leading by example to promote a culture of high quality and customer-focused execution - Coordinating directly with clients on project lifecycle aspects - Maintaining best coding practices within your team - Conducting client interviews for new projects Qualifications required for this role: - 5-7+ years of development experience with project leadership experience - Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects in an agile environment - Experience in building, mentoring, and managing efficient development teams - Strong experience with Typescript, JavaScript, NodeJs, NestJS - Strong experience with relational databases like Postgres or MySQL and ACID Principles - Strong experience with ReactJS, Redux Toolkit, and other state management libraries - Proficiency in modern source control systems like Git, Github - Designing, extending, and implementing REST APIs - Strong Database Design Experience - Exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practices (DevOps) - Experience with Testing Tools including Mocha, Chai, Sinon, Supertest, Enzyme, Istanbul, Selenium, Load Runner, JSLint, Cucumber - Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure - Expertise in server-side development using NodeJs and microservices - Knowledge of Design patterns, Clean coding practices, and SOLID design principle - Experience in asynchronous programming - Experience in API documentation tools like Postman or Swagger - Exposure to code quality management tools like linters or formatters - Knowledge of unit testing tools Good to have: - Agile, Scrum, TDD - Experience in building serverless applications using Nodejs with AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, etc - SonarQube and clean code best practices - Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for managing the application lifecycle - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus As a Senior Developer in this role, you will be responsible for writing optimized code in Javascript/Typescript and working with Advanced NodeJs and ReactJs frameworks.
