Associate - Investment Compliance Monitoring

As an Investment Compliance Monitoring Associate at Fidelity International Limited, you will be responsible for monitoring communications and trading activities to detect misconduct, market abuse, or behavior not in line with firm policies. Your role will involve assisting with periodic surveillance controls, monitoring electronic communications and trading activities, identifying and escalating compliance exceptions, calibrating monitoring tools, and collaborating with Compliance, Technology, and Business teams to ensure seamless adoption of changes. You will also develop effective working relationships with other functional areas and perform tasks within defined SLAs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist with periodic surveillance controls related to investment management and client brokerage activities - Monitor electronic communications and trading activities using vendor and proprietary tools - Identify, escalate, resolve, track, and report compliance exceptions - Administer monitoring tools and produce management information and reports - Monitor post-implementation performance and flag deviations - Act as a liaison between Compliance, Technology, and Business teams - Develop effective working relationships with other functional areas - Perform tasks within defined SLAs and assist with other projects or tasks as required **Experience And Qualifications Required:** - 1-3 years of relevant surveillance experience in the financial services industry - Bachelor of Business or Commerce preferred - Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and market abuse typologies - Good understanding of trading, investment management, and research practices - Working knowledge of international regulatory frameworks - Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and work well under pressure - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills As part of the General Counsel Shared Services team at Fidelity International Limited, you will be part of a global center of expertise providing operational support and services to the General Counsel function.
