Associate - Internal Audit - FMCG

You will be responsible for understanding key business processes and identifying potential operational and financial risks. Your role will include independently planning, executing, and managing internal audit assignments, which involves risk assessments and process evaluations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to conduct timely audits is essential. Additionally, you will be preparing detailed audit reports with clear findings and actionable recommendations, presenting audit results to senior stakeholders, and following up on the implementation of corrective actions. Your contribution to quarterly audit presentations for senior management or board meetings will be valuable. Reviewing internal controls, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance, and ensuring audit documentation and working papers meet internal and regulatory standards will also be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include being a CMA or CA with 0-1 years of post-qualification experience in Internal Audit. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in FMCG or manufacturing companies or those who have worked in a Big 4 audit firm during articleship. You should have a strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit methodologies. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is necessary, and exposure to SAP/ERP systems is a plus. Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills are essential.
