Associate II Software Engineer

Software Engineers are required to meet the needs of our expanding portfolio of international financial clients. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing team based out of Gurgaon and to work with colleagues across multiple regions globally.

The MarkitWire platform is mission critical to the worlds capital markets and provides end-to-end trade processing and workflow solutions that support all participants in OTC trading from post-trade notices of execution, trade confirmation and allocations to clearing and reporting. MarkitWire UI is the main interface where client can book/modify/view their permissioned trades, and interact with counterparties. MW UI is mainly developed under Angular JS.

Responsibilities:

Working within an agile environment you will be expected to solve complex problems and provide solutions to a range of clients utilising our existing platform offerings.As a key member of the team your duties will include but not be limited to; analysis of client issues and new requirements, provision of effective solutions in a timely manner, verification of solutions in cooperation with QA engineers, identification of process improvements and ways of working, building knowledge of the relevant workflows to enhance productivity.

The beginning of the rule will involve the major angular upgrade to Angular TS, then followed by new UI migration to OSTTRA standard, the role will be the main developer immediately towards to those 2 massive projects, and continued enhancement and maintenance.

As you grow with the company, you will have the opportunity to work on strategic projects moving our on-premise offerings to new cloud-based services, utilizing the PaaS.

What Were Looking For:

• A good computer science or other technical degree or equivalent
• Solid and reputable track record of 3+ years development experience
• A great experienced developer with current hands-on experience in JavaScript and TypeScript languages Angular Frameworks
• Having Angular migration from JS to TS is a plus
• Good Knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns as per relevant experience
• Good to have python knowledge on unit testing or relevant UI testing framework
• Knack for writing clean and readable code
• Familiarity with CI/CD process
• Sound Analytical skills and the ability to understand and express complex concepts
• Strong problem-solving skill and work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a positive attitude.
