Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong DIFC (Dubai International Financial Centre) market knowledge, pre-binding skills, and expertise in handling broker business. The role involves managing technical accounting processes, reviewing slips and cover notes, and ensuring compliance with regional and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end technical accounting for DIFC-based insurance/reinsurance transactions.
Review and validate slips, cover notes, and pre-binding documentation.
Handle broker interactions for placements, endorsements, and settlements.
Ensure accurate ledger postings, reconciliations, and timely closing of accounts.
Maintain compliance with DIFC regulations and internal controls.
Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
Support audits and provide required documentation.
Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
45 years of experience in technical accounting within DIFC market.
Strong understanding of broker business processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of regional regulatory frameworks and international accounting standards.
Exposure to insurance/reinsurance operations.
