Associate I - Reconciliation, Investment Banking, Asset Management

As a member of the Reconciliations team at UST, your role involves ensuring the integrity of custody and cash position data within internal systems through daily reconciliation processes. This includes reconciling, investigating, and allocating breaks within set SLAs and deadlines while thriving in a fast-paced environment. Your strong interest in learning and technology will be beneficial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Accountable for allocated portfolios, proactively investigating and following up on queries from various stakeholders - Performing custody transaction and position reconciliation, maintaining ownership of daily cash and stock breaks, and monitoring timely resolution - Handling outstanding OTC bilateral collateral and position reconciliation, fixed deposit positions, and ensuring timely break resolution - Validating and updating internal records with relevant transactions, prioritizing workload, and providing specialist product knowledge - Contributing to department and company initiatives and projects Qualifications: - Prior experience in reconciliations or investment accounting is preferred - Strong investigation skills and familiarity with equities, fixed income, and derivative products - Proficiency in basic software including MS Excel - Understanding of operational risks and control frameworks, experience with Aladdin and Tri-Optima is advantageous - Effective time management, problem-solving skills, and ability to adapt to changes quickly - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to develop and manage relationships with global departments and external counterparties About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that partners with clients to embed innovation and agility into their organizations.
