Job Description

As a Group Head in the creative department, your role involves supporting and assisting in developing the creative vision for all assigned brands. You will partner with vertical leads and team members to execute creative strategies and cultivate innovative solutions. Your responsibilities include supervising, mentoring, and facilitating the personal development of Senior Copywriters and Copywriters. Additionally, you will share writing responsibilities with the team you supervise to manage the day-to-day workload effectively. Your fresh perspective is crucial, especially in areas like social media formats, digital campaigns, and pop culture events. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Associate Creative Director/Creative Director in maintaining the agency's creative vision. - Research and develop innovative options for brand tactics proactively. - Introduce potential promotional opportunities such as internal campaigns, sales rep programs, booth draws, and new media. - Provide detailed direction and supervision to Copywriters and Senior Copywriters for team development. - Conduct continuous performance reviews of direct reports for team development. - Ensure that the style of communication used aligns with the brand objective. - Assist in vendor sourcing and management with the ACD and peers. - Participate in client meetings, market research, and work plan development, presenting ideas and creative solutions confidently. - Act as Project Manager to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met within budget and quality. - Seek approvals from ACD/AD before delivering work to clients. - Interpret account briefs and collaborate with clients and internal teams to meet brand objectives. - Lead and represent creative capabilities in new business pitches. - Oversee multiple campaigns simultaneously. - Participate in ideation sessions and brainstorming for core ideas that align with client objectives. - Develop presentation materials for projects and business development needs. - Assist in presenting work to clients alongside ACD/AD. - Collaborate with creative staff and stakeholders to improve creative product quality. - Promote IA values in all actions to enhance office morale, spirit, character, and work quality. Skills Required: - Exceptional communication and writing skills - Strong listening skills - Proficient presentation skills - Ability to create and deliver solid content plans - Strategic mindset focusing on ROI and creativity - Detail-oriented with a high standard for error-free copy - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, basic familiarity with HTML - Ability to visualize and execute the big picture - Expertise in copywriting across digital channels like social media, emailers, banners, and websites Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, BMM specializing in advertising, Communication Arts, or equivalent - Minimum 5 years of experience as a copy lead (non-technical) in an ad agency or web development firm.,
