Associate, Firmwide Control Management - Controls Room Product Owner

Role Overview: You will be joining the Firmwide Control Management team in the Controls Room as a Data Management Associate within the Meta Data Management team. Your primary responsibility will be to support the onboarding and maintenance of data related to the Firmwide Operational Risk platforms and related ecosystem. You will work closely with the work stream lead to ensure that Business and Reporting metadata align with Basel 239 requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with Product Owners to gather information on Business and Reporting concepts being onboarded - Review and analyze metadata information in RDHP to ensure compliance with metadata management requirements - Refine Business concepts and reporting labels, along with descriptions, in accordance with guidelines - Collaborate with Product Owners and Technology counterparts to capture and maintain Business and Technical lineage for data traceability - Follow up with stakeholders to address open queries and provide necessary information within targeted timelines - Generate Business Glossary artifacts for BCBS 239 compliance and submission - Provide scorecards, metrics, and management reports to stakeholders on the status of metadata management - Ensure accurate and timely escalation and resolution of inquiries - Identify opportunities to automate metadata management processes using future tools - Perform ad hoc analysis and generate data extracts using Databricks and SQL Qualification Required: - Master's degree in Business Management/Finance or Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounts or equivalent - 8+ years of experience with at least 2 years in Data Management or a related field - Good understanding of Data governance framework, Data quality, and Data lineage - Familiarity with data structures, data models, schemas, and taxonomies - Experience using Metadata management tools like RDHP and Jade Catalog - Understanding of ETL processes and data transformation - Strong SQL skills and knowledge of Database management platforms like Databricks - Proficiency in Tableau/Alteryx and familiarity with Python or Java for automating metadata management processes - Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description),
